About

Two business leaders, one practical idea

Rob Marusin and Rob Stevenson have worked together to build and lead a successful Alberta-based business with roots dating back to 1997.

Through that work, they have seen how clearly defined core values can shape culture, guide decisions, strengthen teams, and create a more meaningful way of working.

CoreCentered grew from their desire to make that practical approach accessible to other businesses, individuals and families.

Rob Marusin

Entrepreneur | Leader | Co-Founder, CoreCentered

Rob Marusin is an entrepreneur and business leader who believes that strong values are at the heart of great organizations—and meaningful lives.

Since 1997, Rob has helped build and lead an Alberta-based insurance brokerage, guiding its growth through a commitment to people, culture and doing what’s right. Over the years, he has seen how clearly defined values can shape decisions, strengthen teams and create a sense of purpose that reaches well beyond a business plan.

Rob’s passion for values-based leadership extends into his life as a father, mentor and lifelong learner. Through CoreCentered, he wants to help others discover what matters most to them and use those values to lead with greater clarity, confidence and intention—at work, at home and in life.

Rob Stevenson

Business Leader | Strategist | Co-Founder, CoreCentered

Rob Stevenson is a business leader and strategist with a background in marketing, communications and building strong teams. His work has focused on bringing ideas to life, connecting with people and helping organizations turn their vision into action.

As a senior leader at an Alberta-based insurance brokerage, Rob has seen firsthand how a shared set of values can influence the way people work together, serve others and grow. He believes that a strong culture isn’t built through words alone—it comes from the everyday decisions and behaviours that bring those words to life.

Through CoreCentered, Rob brings a practical and creative perspective to helping leaders, teams and individuals identify their values and put them to work in meaningful ways.

The 1997 date belongs to the business experience behind CoreCentered, not to when CoreCentered itself began. Both Robs are still working in their primary business.

Where to go from here

The same approach sits behind both journeys — the difference is who it is for.
